Application forms and Prospectus for the Medical Postgraduate Courses (including
Higher Specialities) in this Institution beginning in 2005 may be obtained
from October 27th 2004 onwards from the office of the Registrar on payment
of Rs.500/- (Indian Rupees five hundred only) for candidates from India and
SAARC countries. Candidates applying from abroad (other than SAARC countries)
should send a demand draft for Fifty US Dollars or its equivalent. The
money may be remitted using any of the following methods

ALL POST-GRADUATE COURSES IN THIS INSTITUTION ARE IN-SERVICE TRAINING PROGRAMMES. FEES: Various admission fees amounting to around Rs.7000, plus a yearly fee of Rs.1500 pa would be payable on admission. There is NO NRI quota. 50% of seats are reserved for sponsored candidates. Question papers of previous years are not available. There will be an ALL INDIA ENTRANCE EXAMINATION for all MD/MS/Diploma level courses conducted in various centres around the country (Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Vellore). Admission to any particular course is based on the performance in the entrance examination, practical tests, interviews and the weightage given for having worked in the rural and needy areas and is subject to approval from the University and other such bodies as are applicable. |
